Gosia works as a professional artist in Toronto. With a background in Illustration from Sheridan College, she explores different techniques of bring her creations closer to life. With every new figure she creates, the artist struggles to balance a likeness of her posing model and an imagined figure in her mind, with elements inspired by neo-romanticism and fantasy. A small edition of each original sculpture is cast from a mold. As well as a few, which she refers to, as her "blank canvases". These are extra casts which Gosia paints or sculpts over top of, creating an array of new and original characters.
